Aeffe chooses Drop for e-commerce implementation and management of Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini

Founded in 1984 within the Aeffe group, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini is today one of the most internationally appreciated Italian brands, thanks to the vision of its creative director, Lorenzo Serafini.

With an aesthetic of lightness and romance, the brand combines ethereal fabrics, refined details, and sophisticated silhouettes for the modern and elegant woman. Transferring this essence to the digital channel was a key challenge for the brand.
This challenge found its ideal solution in the collaboration with Drop | e-business & love!, the well-known commerce provider, now part of the Horsa group.

The project, developed by Drop on the Shopify Plus platform, manages 20 international markets with multilingual, multicurrency support and dynamic price list management. The implemented architecture ensures the necessary operational flexibility while maintaining a consistent and personalized user experience for each target market.

The technological architecture is based on API integrations with strategic external systems: a PIM (Product Information Management) for centralized product information management, an OMS (Order Management System) for optimized order management with real-time synchronization, and HubSpot to support the brand's CRM, marketing automation, and mailing activities.

On a daily basis, Drop assists the Aeffe team by providing a comprehensive service that ranges from Merchant of Record for managing fiscal and administrative aspects to store management for optimizing digital performance. The service also includes multilingual and multichannel customer care, technical and evolutionary maintenance of the platform, and integrated management of cross-border shipments.

Among the most significant innovations of the project is the implementation of the labeless return, which simplifies the return process by eliminating the need to print documents, offering clear benefits both for the customer experience and for the environment. Another noteworthy feature is the integration of Shopify Tax for the U.S. market, which ensures automatic and precise calculation of Sales Tax and compliance without the need for third-party solutions.

The architecture created by Drop allows Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini to fully express its identity in the digital channel, while ensuring excellent operational performance.
